  I wished to give them a 4.5, but I went ahead and rounded it up. We purchased a mini family pack. It was meant to be large enough to feed 2-4, def could only feed 2.  I've recently moved out of NC and I've been very disappointed with the BBQ I've had in MD. I really missed Carolina BBQ and their BBQ was on point! I was so excited to have what I missed so dearly! In addition, the green beans were very well seasoned. The fired chicken was seasoned perfectly, but if you wished to add condiments, the chicken could still stand on its own. The only negative thing I will mention from our meal were the yams. You could see that they were handmade, they were just a bit under seasoned for my taste. YET they were cooked perfectly. Finally, customer service was great since we made the order for pick up. Overall great restaurant, would certainly suggest someone to stop here.

  The woman who helped us (her name tag identified her as general manager) was angry. We didn't feel welcomed or appreciated. It was our first visit so I tried to ask questions about the menu and got terse one word answers. Food was alright but the vibe was horrible

  i love you tre. i still think parkers is better. this place is cool though. next time just gimme the two chicken breast.

  A solid place for BBQ. The meat was tasty and flavorful, the staff was very friendly and helpful. There were plenty of sides to choose from on the menu, including hot sides like cabbage and black eyes peas that I don't see often enough at local BBQ places. The building was interesting. It appeared to be a remodeled fast food restaurant. My only complaint is the lack of buffet sides. While the menu sides were plentiful, there were only a couple sides available on the buffet. Lots of meat available, however...  Fried chicken, Pork and Turkey BBQ, deviled crabs, chicken & pastries, two kinds of fish, and shrimp (decent sized shrimp too, not the teenie tiny ones you usually see around here). The hush puppies were cold. I just wish there were more hot sides on the buffet like cabbage, beans, etc

  Where do I begin we are back in North Carolina again my husband wants some bar b que so we see signs for Gardner's so hubby wants some rib. We stop at Gardner's he orders some barbecue ribs with collars my light bulb should have went off when I heard the cashier asked do we have ribs today someone from the back said yeah we have some ribs. I ordered 3 fried wings . Well let me just say the ribs were wrapped in aluminium foil my husband feeling on the aluminium foil he stated these ribs are cold so he had to walk back into the place to return the cold ribs to find out they will have ribs on Saturday he got food off the buffet chicken . My chicken wings were good his ' chicken did not taste like mind he did say the  collar greens were good. Hubby states he should have known they did  not have barbecue when he did not see smoke or smell smoke . It you want good chicken wings and collar green go to take out part but for me we will be looking at Gardner's in our review mirror. This review is my honest opinion just under my husband name. -Andrea
